S Pass (SP) S Pass is a new category of work pass which replaces the Q2 pass with effect from 1 July 2004. The points system comprises four categories, namely, salary, educational qualifications, number of years of work experience and job type to enable a broader assessment of the applicant. Employment / Professional Pass (EP) Foreign professionals, managers, executives, specialists or entrepreneurs who wish to work in Singapore should apply for an Employment / Professional Pass.
