7 new Covid-19 cases in Singapore, including 1 in community, 5 imported

SINGAPORE – There were two new locally-transmitted cases of Covid-19 infection reported in Singapore on Sunday (Oct 18) – an unlinked community case and a case in a workers’ dormitory, said the Ministry of Health (MOH).

There were also five imported cases, who had all been placed on stay-home notice upon arrival in the country.

These seven new cases were confirmed as at Sunday noon, taking Singapore’s total number of Covid-19 infections to 57,911.
